It is so important to look for opportunities to encourage and yes "validate" someone. I was in Taco Bell just a few days ago and told the girl she had great people skills. Her face lit up and said she doesn't get along with the staff because she talks too much. In my opinion she couldn't have been more professional and friendly. She gave me her email and I sent her an encouraging note that was sincere. I told her she would get somewhere in life because she had what it takes. The next time you are at a Taco Bell and receive excellent service as I did, call the managers number on your receipt and tell them how great the service was and "validate" the person.
